Position: Plumbers Mate

Are you looking to go into Heating & Plumbing? We are currently offering a fantastic opportunity to experience and train within this industry for a minimum of 6 months. An apprenticeship for the right person will be considered after this initial period. 

You will be working directly with Andrew, the owner of the company, benefiting from his 18 years experience. This is a great opportunity for some one to gain excellent experience and insight within the heating and pluming industry. 

We will be providing one to one work experience on all aspects of heating and plumbing, including oil, gas and LPG systems and general manual and building work. 

 

Job details: 

Minimum of 25 hours per week. 

Job location: Mainly Swansea, occasional work in Bridgend and Pembrokeshire. 

Employee must be flexible to meet business needs and may have to stay away overnight. If working away accommodation and evening meal will be provided for. 

Pay: Minimum wage, Holidays: Statuary 

 

Candidate skills: 

Due to the nature of the job the candidate must be physically fit and strong. 

It is essential that candidate is driven and has a strong work ethic. 

The candidate must be well presented and must be able to work within a team. 

A proven track record of general manual labour work is advantageous. 

Must have own transport. 

 

Candidate must be eligible for Kickstart grant: being aged between 16-24 and currently a Universal Credit Claimant.
